Truth Has a Purpose - Speak Truth

As a wife, parent, neighbor, friend, author, and Christian Leader, I believe that Truth has a purpose. Truth is usually the deciding factor in civil societies between right and wrong—the North Star for travelers trying to find their way home—the litmus test for qualified office holders in virtually all walks of life. Truth has a purpose!

The purpose of Truth is not to make people feel comfortable or uncomfortable, happy or sad, angry or calm, shameful or shameless. The goal of Truth is not to gain popularity nor to compete with trends. It does not need to be stretched or propped up. Truth has a purpose!

The purpose of Truth is to enlighten, provide knowledge, bring understanding,

Expose reality, and promote facts based on a reliable and creditable source. The Truth can bring healing, deliverance, repentance, and reconciliation. Truth has a purpose!

Truth has the power to turn hate into love, fear into faith, and cowardliness into courage. Truth can change things; darkness into light, despair into hope, chaos into peace. If we just allow it to flow unhindered. Why? Because it is a standard of righteousness. And Jesus said, knowing the Truth brings liberty. (St. John 8:32). Truth has a purpose!
